Rishi Mela is an annual celebration at the lovely natural garden RISHI-UDYAN,Ajmer. Thousands of people gather here for a function spread over 3 days. Main highlights of the Mela are daily Yajna,Speeches,Bhajans and special session on Vedas in the Ved-Gosthi. Anybody can come and attend it.

Normally Rishi - Mela is held just before or first after the festival of Deepawali. Deepawali is remembered as a day of Rishi - Nirvan. Swami Dayanand Saraswati had died on the day of Deepavali as a result of being poisoned by his own cook.
